Based on responses I've gotten, no, they just open up the discussion thread without reading the chapter. To "get the vibe" or "see if it's good" and somehow don't think they'll be spoiled by people...discussing the contents of the chapter??

I also complain on having to double click, but that's because the UI that pops up when I click comments first is slow af so it just slows down the whole process of accessing the damn forum comments lol

Imagine my surprise when I check up on the ping and I see that it was linking to a dare I made to you to talk about Recettear (expecting full gushing pandemonium over an old niche game in 2026), only to read the quoted text and think it sounds awfully similar to the plot of Ansatsu Kyoushitsu instead of Recettear.... 😅

Still, nice review. It conveyed your feelings well while using specific examples to illustrate your points.

It seems it's someone who has created the account to post a single message (do this!) and closed his profile interactions to himself. But yes, striking is something he has freely done.

I asked them if they were Baron on their main profile and they nearly instantly deleted the comment.

So they do know who he is. Either it is literally him, or a fan as you say.
