Meh, this is partly because I don't have to go fishing for stuff that's easy to find. I'll admit I do have certain things I like. Remorse, contrition, reconciliation, recovery from trauma, misunderstandings with consequences and the shock upon learning the truth. And while I adore a lot of romances that are fairly straightforward, I also love ones where there's a lot of drama and conflict, as long as it's not ridiculous or prone to excessive repetition. A lot of things I can find pretty easily on my own. A lot of things I can't, or I can technically find them but half of them come to a very bad end, especially NTR stuff. I like love triangles, for example, especially those where a guy likes a girl who likes another guy. I have little trouble finding those. I have a lot of trouble finding ones where the girl ends up with the guy who likes her rather than the guy she likes, unless that guy has next to no presence in the story and leaves early. Even when the girl has no chemistry with her crush and excessive chemistry with her admirer.

There's also the fact that plain NTR has traumatized me on multiple occasions, and I always end those wishing that there was a continuation that would change the outcome. Most of the time the authors don't write continuations of any kind, so the best I can do is ask for stuff that's similar to what I've seen but has a good ending for the MC.

And of course there's the fact that, though not a writer, I very regularly find myself thinking "what would it be like if..." or "that would be cool if..." This is also true for NTR, but also for other stuff. Like, I remember YouTube flooding me with multiple channels' short voiced "manga", about 75% of which consisted of some variant of a materialistic spouse or family member declaring the MC to be useless because they don't make anything, only to find out afterward that the MC is a multimillionaire and the source of all their income. But all of these end with the person crawling back trying to pretend that it was just a big misunderstanding or otherwise obviously trying to get back into the money. And I immediately think "what if instead we had a story where the person actually felt ashamed for having acted this way based on money, or one where the person learned to love the person regardless of their finances and then later found out that the person wasn't poor, just into saving". Or I see the countless Banished series out there and I wonder if there are any that actually end with most or all of the party getting back together again, with the people that banished the MC turning out not to be complete bastards and ultimately offer a legitimate apology and ask not to take him back but for him to take them back. My "questionable" requests are pretty much either searches for stories that I can read to overwrite bad stories I've seen or searches for specific things and variants that I've found very difficult to find.

Anyway, I was just surprised to suddenly be name-dropped here, especially with a request to give me an insulting nickname, so I thought I'd somehow gotten you angry over something. Haven't really been to this thread before so I wasn't aware. Anyway, I find it surprising someone would want to nickname me based on my apparent tastes. Would have thought my first suggested nickname would be something like Text Mason" for my tendency to build walls.
Damn, you think about NTR even more than me.

You should try reading some wholesome yuri manga to detoxify your system like I do.

With great power comes great responsibility. Loungers just don't understand the power @ wields towards the psyche.
This is what they're thinking when they @ you oobaka.

Short Short Horror (Minowa Bunko) chapter 7
to me it seems like there really are fireworks (as shown on the first page), but the sight of air raids is to show what their grandpa experienced during wartime (and why he hates fireworks). the kids aren't actually seeing bombs being dropped. (if this is obvious i haven't seen anyone else replying with it).

anyways, i'm really sorry that i responded to this when you didn't ping me. i know it was directed towards users other than me, but i still replied and pinged you on top of it. i'm not trying to intrude, just wanted to share my thoughts :v
