When it comes to using the seven deadly sins as a base for characters, would you rather have characters that struggle with the sin or draw the sin out of others?

It feels pretty inconsistent across multiple franchises where you kinda get a mix of the two

I'd rather have the characters be the embodiment of the sin but in a twisted way, since y'know just being a simple embodiment of a single kind of limits their growth, but if you play around with a twist to the characters since the emotions themselves are multifaceted. But in the who cares as long the character is hot and sexy.
