So I got a new salt shaker, right. Old one was real old. What's different about this one is that I can see exactly how much salt or something else is in it by looking at it instead of guessing based on weight and shadows. Now that's great and all but now it's not as mysterious as before and you know what? Some things shouldn't be a mystery. Some things should be clear and transparent but obviously nothing like my walls and clothes cuz that'd be weird.

Yes they can be acquired quite easily even in a Tian-grade realm thanks to globalisation. I heard it was invented by the same dude who invented the Mason jar. It's some neat almost revolutionary stuff.
Yes I am talking about having salt shakers but also the duality of wanting mystery but also transparency in everyday things. Is not just a matter of aesthetics but what you value more. Like the older, more mysterious and almost antique-looking one created a challenge for which one had develop skill or get used to and die while the new one is convenient which is what I want because I value having that convenience over saying "I'm not poor I just like keeping things mysterious : ｣" (I mean who's gonna believe that?)
