Honestly think that the main Index franchise anime adaptation needs to be rebooted to be more accurate to the novels, the og anime was a mess.

But the mountain that is the entire novel series being re-adapted to anime now these days is likely too much for most anime studios to take.

I don't expect them to ever truly adapt them as they should be. Especially with how AI gen trigger happy anime studios are becoming.

Which is crazy when you think about the money making machine Toaru main story could be if they actually did it correctly. So much content they could adapt..

But I've heard some fans are also banking on the theory that the people behind the adaptions rushed Old Testament on purpose so they can adapt New Testament sooner, which is considered to be far better. Though with how long it's been since we got an adaption, this is probably not true.
