That ain't a hurdle race if you cut the hurdles. I just think the author doesn't had any idea about how make Kozue lost a race so (s)he use the usual bullsh*t shenanigans. I swear Yuki feel so smart and normal compared to the others Catulus. Did Catulus syndrom make brain cells disappeared ?

Not to mention destruction of property. Some places would even go as far as expelling/banning/arresting you for doing so since it was obviously done intentionally. Not to mention bringing a sharp sword to a public event which has no need for them in the current situation. While I do not know Japanese laws, I pretty sure doing those things is illegal anywhere.

A few chapters back, Yuki did realize what special skill she had compared to the others. Namely, she wasn't an airhead.
