Yandere doesn't even begin to describe him, later in the story, he drugs/brainwashes the real celestine and has him attempt to assassinate ignis, almost succeeding, this of course, since ignis is crown prince (king at this point but i'm not sure, read this on nu spoiler thread a while back so memory is hazy), essentially get's the MC and her family put on death row, ignis relents and tells the mc and her family to leave the country and never return (he regrets this almost immediately but that's a different set of spoilers), the brown haired guy (name escapes me), he didn't think this was a big deal because the mc would be too strong for them to kill and she'd escape, keep in mind, i said the mc, not her family, the guy is batshit insane.
Oh and he also murdered the guys who were messing with the mc in the previous chapters during the monster hunt, which will probably come up next chapter.

Oh what's that? A villain that's not just two dimensional and actually has redeeming characteristics?

Lets hope he doesn't use this as leverage later on though. He seemed as in shock seeing his hero on the ground as she was seeing him.
