Well, the site is now popular as a source to read manhwas, specifically, official EN translations of manhwas ripped from the licensed source to be put on bato for free-to-view.

Basically, you have no money to pay for chapters? Just come to bato, ez. (This also applied for official licensed mangas/manhuas)

Also today most of the users are mostly teens, 14 at best, which explained the idiocy of some comments, so people try to avoid the comment section. Still got some funny memes out of it though.
