The more i read, the more i think the prince is not the villain in this story, since only letio has discovered her identity, and he has some pretty questionable morals. Pretty sure he is the villain in all of this. I just want selena to come clean to the prince so we can get more lovey-dovey scenes

it may well be the case. I think there's another novel adsptation similar in that aspect. From the reader'sperspective the good/bad guys were set by the author's narrative, but when she transmigrated into the novel it is a whole different story, nothing was as black/white
