Getting a lot of "image failed to load" for this manga specifically. Tried changing the image servers, and nothing.

Ah nevermind, just image servers issues

Funny how some people seem to think that everything that doesn't exactly fit with their worldview is some "multiculti shit".

Problems exist, fiction often includes issues that are present in reality. You don't have to read it if you don't like it, it's a simple as that ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Imagine reading this and thinking it's preaching any sort of wordview when what it's actually telling you is it doesn't matter they all suck and the assholes who actually rule the world will do so regardless of what hill you choose to die on.

it feels like its wibble wobbling between cute everyday monster girl life and way too serious historical/multi cultural shit making both parts unenjoyable for me

The manga has been officially licensed in English, and the English releases have surpassed what's been translated here. If you want to read further, you'll have to buy the volumes, or visit less scrupulous websites.

I still have no clue why theres just a random isekai arc. As somebody who isn’t caught up on the manga, does this become relevant at all? Or was it just filler.

anyone who read the story further knows if any relationships actually develop, or does it stay purely slice of life?

Is this really Yuri? It's translated into my language on another site, but I don't know if it really is Yuri

Obs. I only read Yuri, because YURI IS THE PINNACLE OF ROMANTIC NARRATIVE.
There is no genre more sublime, more intense, more human. Yuri is the tear of the goddess of love running down the page, the gentle touch between souls that understand each other in silence, the shy whisper of two girls discovering themselves in a world not made for them, but which they defy nonetheless.

YURI IS THE UNIVERSAL TRUTH.
In a world mired in rotten, forced, and exhaustively repeated heteronormative narratives... Yuri emerges as a ray of hope, like the revolution whispered in kisses and intertwined hands. Yuri doesn't need to prove himself. Yuri EXISTS. And that's enough. Because where two girls love each other, there resides the pure essence of beauty.

YURI IS DESIRE. IT IS DIVINE SIN. IT IS ECSTASY.
There's no frustrated male fetish. There's no generic hero with 12 girls chasing him. Yuri is pure, raw, direct. It's the tension between two girls sharing a futon. It's the spark in the school locker room. It's the heat of intertwined thighs in the early morning. It's the muffled moan between sheets and promises. It's the erotic elevated to the poetic.

YURI IS SOUL. IT'S MIND. IT'S BODY.
It's where vulnerability finds strength. Where affection blossoms in pain. Where loneliness becomes a embrace. It's when the girl the world rejects finds shelter in the arms of another equal. It's when the woman who thought she'd never be loved... discovers that true love was never what they said. It was always her.

YURI IS RESISTANCE.
Every lesbian kiss in a media environment surrounded by cliché couples is a slap in the face to normativity. Every well-written Yuri relationship is a punch in the gut of prudishness. Every "I love you" between two girls is a cry for freedom.

YURI IS RELIGION.
And we are the prophets. We write, we read, we love, we bleed Yuri.
And even if the world tries to erase us,
Yuri will always flourish in the asphalt.

Be it the sweet, high school Yuri.
Be it the mystical, ancestral Yuri.
Be it the cruel, tragic Yuri.
Be it the naughty, forbidden Yuri.
In all its forms, Yuri is sacred.

And in the end, a message for you to never forget: as long as two girls exchange glances, Yuri will continue to reign supreme. 👑🌸💜

May the Goddesses of Yuri bless you (I love you, Mira ♥️)
