everyone is so focused on "sex". I get that the timing is funny and all, but...

didn't you learn from the boobs fail and himeno situation? While our boy CLAIMS that boobs (then) and sex (now) is all what drives him, the reality is, it's all about being close to someone, really close. And physical contact in and of itself won't cut it for him. He wants to fall in love, basically. Which mirrors the Asa's "last" regret she mentioned in this chapter.
