I HAVE NO MOUTH AND I MUST SCREAMA chapter with no dialogue because no one has mouths is both ridiculous and bold as fuck.
I'm curious to see the zeitgeist of opinion around this one.
To me, the difference is, Part one was really streamlined. You could feel Fujimoto planed everything ahead since the start. Here with Part 2 it feels like he maybe he has an endpoint doesn't really know how to get there. Like he does everything on a whim. Maybe I'm wrong but at least it feels like that to me.Maybe it's just because I haven't read part 1 in years, and maybe part 1 was the same way, but it feels like part 2 crutches way harder on having something outrageous happen at the end of every chapter for shock value. Which makes the part feel overall way more chaotic and unfocused, because if something surprising and shocking happens every other chapter, there's no room for the story to breathe and settle.
to be fair, we are getting this pretty quickly. Hopefully the manga release will be cleaned up.Um, the chapter is great, there's no doubt, but um, the art looks really really rough, to be honest.
No mouth mean nobody can eat too meaning they'll probably go hungry and then everybody will be scared of famine and then the famine devile will pop off.I've only just realised that without mouths he cannot eat anything else, and can't regurgitate anything... Bruh, are we actually getting to the end of everything now?
