Nitpicker here, technically the gun devil in part 1 is just the american-owned one, at 20%. The one Yoru just summoned is from the Soviet, so around 29%, which should be even stronger

OR, since there are no nukes perhaps the arms race never occurred and the USSR never broke up. That would also mean that the end of World War II in the Pacific would have included a brutal and bloody invasion of the Japanese homeland.

We need to consider what devils he ate, and how they would influence the world. I get this horrible feeling that Makima wanted to prevent a disaster but was thwarted by people that feared her control. So now Chainsaw man is about to vomit up stuff that was forgotten.

So, USSR did not dissolve, and the Nazis were not there; How would Manchuria have been resolved? Would political pressure from the USSR and the US been enough? did we just witness a world where there was no war, famine, strife, end? Have we just witnessed a utopia be destroyed by government incompetence and greed?

People talk about this arc being the end, I hope not, because these questions are so absurd that i want to see them investigated. I want to see a new arc where denji is on the run and in hiding because he just wants to live.

It gets even worse when we consider that the age devil wanted to be eaten. Chainsaw man was the hero of hell, because he ENDED the devil's existence. Maybe the devils don't want to cause suffering?

the absurdity of how deep this is spiritually massive. I came here for a story about a guy with chainsaw powers, i did NOT expect an investigation into how society would be different without certain concepts.
