He's never conscious whenever Yoru shows that she has no issue with killing Denji along with (black) Chainsaw Man, and Asa explained her and Yoru's plan as one that would save him. He wasn't conscious when Yoru tried to mag-dump into his mouth in the Old Age Devil's domain, either.

Denji just has no real interest in Kobeni, to the point that I don't even think he knows her name-- I think the only things he does know of her is that she's incredibly neurotic and tried to kill him once (and not even that she saved his life later).

Writing your way out of this alt world seems like a puzzle for the author that I can't seem to guess what it is.

Eat the Aging Devil? Nah, CSM seems to be out of the fight although conscious. Get sent to hell somehow and come back from there? Seems too complicated. Barf up another devil with a relevant power of sending them back? Seems plausible but I don't know which.

Eating her, and then himself... so that the pochita can barf them up in the real world?
