There is some comments about how this is the Makima situation all over again, but I'll argue that this is the opposite to Makima. While Makima never really cared about Denji and only use him to get to the chainsaw devil; Its clear (at least to me) that Yoru no longer (or at least very little) care for the chain saw devil and it's only using it as an excuse to get to Denji. If you pay attention in the begining all that Yoru talked about was "the chain saw devil this, the chain saw devil that, I've got to defeat it" but after their big battle she really hasn't mention it and has all her focus on Denji. Wheter she can actually turn the chain saw devil into here weapon or not does not seems as relevant as how she clearly cares much more about Denji. Remember she was asked to turn "Denji" into her weapon and she does not seam very fond of doing so since she actually likes Denji.
All an all I don't knwo where this is all going but it's a nice mirror to the Makima situation which makes me feel like we are very close to the end of this part
This guy gets it. There are two possible scenarios: Yoru
can't turn Denji into a weapon, or Yoru doesn't
want to turn Denji into a weapon.
In the last page she literally makes a pact with Denji that given the right conditions she will turn him into a weapon which could work one of two ways: if she doesn't want to, she has an excuse not to turn him; if she can't, she just found a way to do it because she's betting against him.
Makima was
nothing like Yoru and the situation is the polar opposite.
Makima schemed in secret to manipulate Denji, Yoru is being loud about how she's manipulating him because she doesn't really mean or is unable to use him.
Makima was a pyscho, Yoru is a tsundere.
