One thing is always constant about Fujimoto's stories, it never gets better. Things might stop going terrible momentarily, but they will get much worse, again, again, and again, goddamnit man.

But also bold move to reuse a plot point like this. "Do impossible thing for me, and then I will do what you want" just like Makima did.

Also also, Asa internally screaming rn.
The difference is that now he knows that he is being used, and the situation is completely different now because denji is different. In the beginning of the story he just had simple goals like hugging a girl and everything he was experiencing was new, but now he is completely traumatized

Denji might be the only manga MC for whom I actually wish happiness for. That dude REALLY needs some stability and company of someone.

I don't think it's a Makima situation all over again guys, Yoru does love Denji because Asa loves Denji, like sure she's obviously using him but in this case he could've already made him her weapon if she wanted but he's giving him a chance to prove himself useful to her lol

I wonder if Pochita's true identity has to do with sex. Like gluttony is always eating, war likes to kill people and fuck shit up, etc. and Denji always wants to fuck to the point it trumps his family getting murdered. Maybe denji's obsession with sex comes from his pact with pochita! Meh probably not but its fun to speculate

I wanna believe Yoru here is being genuine. Unlike Makima who had a different goal, Yoru has completely synced with Asa. And Asa loves Denji genuinely. I'll keep my hopes up while at the same time expect the worst.

My boy Denji stay not learning lmao - I think that's the moral conclusion to this story tho.

Once Denji figures out how to love himself and not be a slave to his demons in spite of the consistent pain he faces will we see the end of CSM
The real Man was the Chains we sawed along the way
