I dont think that was slop. This is just how the author does his thing. Take it or leave it, that's how all authors and their stories work.

I am really starting to feel that weekly release pacing. Shorter chapters to hit deadlines, which means longer events take eternities to actually happen. The stuff happening is cool, But I bet it would be cooler if it all happened at once instead of 2+ months

The story is going somewhere since the start of part 2 but can't seem to reach a milestone. I've started to read part 2 when it first came out so it might explain why my memory is blurry, but what have the MCs really accomplished ? I'm really asking because I'm actually struggling to keep reading these short chapters while I really liked part 1. The fact there is no kobeni plays a big part too

I don't think it's because of the story. It's mostly the pacing and half chapters that come out. I still like this series but every chapter I start to care a little less about it.

At least the "handjob" chapter felt like a whole chapter. Had a climax and everything.

That was a difficult one because in Japanese it was a "come at me bro" type of taunt that's also used as an invitation for sex (it can mean both "do you want to fight me" or "do you want to f*** me"). So Yoru was taunting Denji to come fight her, but with sexual innuendos.

In the recent chapter, the Japanese version has Asa call them "allies of justice". Which might have some implications as the fake Justice Devil just showed up a couple of chapters earlier.
