Everyone want's denji to pick a side. Now what's great about this is how it deviates from the hero's journey. It's a good deviation. What side is the best side? We don't see it that often.

Now my hunch. is that they will get what they want, and denji will either vomit out some of those horrors people forgot about, or they will come back, and then there will be a new global panic arc. Anyway going to let fujimoto cook.

wasn't expecting two chapters back to back of seeing how Public Safety exploits youth at this point in the story but I'll gladly take it. Yoshida getting a taste of "normal" school life before having to deal with Yoru gaining power and eventually being turned into a bomb is devious work, rest easy dude

Denji's thought in the first page has Death Devil without her stomach hole, confirming that Denji was too focused on the panties that he didn't even notice her lack of internal organs.

There's probably some plan behind the explosion. It's unlikely the intent was to kill Denji (at least by the explosion), but there's probably something else that they're trying to achieve and that's more so the suspense than Denji's (immediate) safety.

maybe you just don't get or like CSM because it isn't what you want it to be. The writing in part 2 is great and I can and have justified it before with facts and not opinions--which is the way the premise is structured.

People shitting on Denji for thinking with his dick are missing the point ENTIRELY. There are 3 different factions, all represented by hot pieces of ass (war, death, government) manipulating him with sex, trying to use Denji to further their own goals and in opposition with the other factions.

Denji has literally no means of telling which side is in the 'right' and he doesn't much care anyway. All three factions are murdering liars. It's puzzling and funny at the same time. Going "buhhh mc devolved uhhh he thinks with his dick" is the worst take ever, you're just getting angry at the manga for not being what you want it to be. This premise is peak writing, if you don't like it that's an entirely different matter.

Also the author has a bunch of recurring themes in his mangas, one of them being movies, another is apocalypse, another is brother-demon sister filial love.
