Just caught up.
Fuck, the climax really immersed me, the pacing, paneling and the art blew me away only to be bait and switch.
I guess Denji not being able to find happiness was the repeating theme, but the finale and Asa completely shifted expectations.

It looks like the real treasure was the friends we made along the way... who died... but are back now that our other/best friend killed himself... which caused history to rewrite itself... unless we are going with multiverse theory... in which case we got to see an alternate reality without CSM... and Denji prime just watched his best friend kill himself, he now has no powers, everyone he loves is dead and prime earth is a sea of immortal man eating insects... so fingers crossed for a "single universe theory" happy ending.

Same type yea, though I think its still way better than fire punch's ending. But I sorta expected it since chainsaw man is a lot more tame than fire punch

Eh, he ran into Asa and got Heart Thump disease, and I think she caught it too. They are both dumb so I think Abe-sama's will can't be far behind.

Not even mad with this ending but I have been disappointed with chainsaw man for awhile now.

This ending still makes me feel nothing. This feels like burnout to me more than anything.

Hope his next work is better.

Power's cake makes me feel something.
Other than that, what you nailed. Its a reasonably happen ending but it just sort of happens, its just hollow.

Bro really stopped caring a third into Part 2 and I this ending just feels like he finally just freed himself from continuing. Ending it at Part 1 would have been better than this disappointing Part 2.

Son of a bitch, it just like Fire Punch all over again. Fuji, you bastard! Always leaves me with mixed feelings but Pochita in still his heart and chainsaw are a concept.
So, does it mean pochita still exists? What did he really erase? Because it seems like he only erased his name but himself.

Fire Punch ending was perfect tho, unlike this trash ending we got.
