Change status of Manga to "Reading" after first finishing it's first chapter

Hi guys! I would like to suggest the following as above.

If possible during the transition from Chapter 1 to Chapter 2 of a manga title, can we have a notification (a conditional pop-up) that will say "Would you like to change the status of this Manga to "Reading"" or similar.

This will of course have a "Yes/No" option, change would be self-explanatory.

Just noticed this one as I've been reading random titles that I enjoyed which I unfortunately did not change the status. I do know that there is a reading history section, but I did not think of it before.

Interesting option. Definitely not necessary but interesting.
I too sometimes forgot to change the status once I've read a decent first chapter. But I always think that it's on me though

I oppose popup windows in general, but I do see where your idea is coming from at least.

Oh wait, not actually a pop-up in a sense. The tech (or rather the script) already exist here in Mangadex.

It should be similar to the warning sign when "a chapter is missing" on a title, but of course changed to "would you like to add the series".

still and interference when moving from chapter to chapter for those of that don't add to our mdlist. Honestly that just reminds me of a screen size popup.
