as much as i disliked this arc, the ending really did feel bittersweet... happy for su luxia and the hubby though, i hope they live their quiet uneventful life happily together.

While there were frustrations at times with this arc, it was pretty neat to see og su Luxia of that world get her body back and get to live with her husband again. A pity they both were victims of the other Wen and his trashy girl. And neat to see a new agent be made. Hope we don't wait eons to see him and su Luxia meet up

It took her only four years to turn the country completely around, and only a single year to pay all debts back. That’s after a civil war as well.

I think my biggest gripe about this arc is that it felt rushed. The events chained each other with no space in between. They didn’t make any reason to care about any of the characters in the story. Like her brother for example only showed up a couple of times doing nothing until this chapter. Compare that to her caretaker in the ghost king arc, or most of the other early arcs. They all have much better well built characters than any that was introduced here.

Moqi Xun is one of the good things to have come out of this arc.

Quite the sinful woman, Su Luxia lol.....swooning all these pretty boys....
Jokes aside, iirc, one or 2 of them should have some sort of connection to Zero, so I'm curious if Luxia approaches these men because of Zero or just because they are very capable and worthy

TY PRAE for working on the arc (even tho it was...."inferior" to the previous ones imo) and for picking CMMD after SM left
As you said, cheating men is not the focus of the story, the "true" man cheats on his wife plot is constant on the first few arcs and then we had other plots too, like the deluded thot in Japan, the pseudo mafia boss guy or the murim stories
In the end, at this point I personally read CMMD/PRAE because I wanna see if Luxia will finally find Zero or I'll get fucked by a "you'll never know" lol....the scummy characters getting what they deserve is the much appreciated "icing on the cake"

lol, Anyone who can't tell that the series isn't about only cheating men but scummy characters at this point is a lost cause. I really can't blame Moqui's system, he was quite hot looking at the end there... It would be kind of fun to get a side story about all the guys looking for her instead of just the chat logs. lol

Dang, I liked this arc too for some reasons (for sure that was fresh change, of happy ending OG body hosts). This eps is definitely a few of my fav on this arc, I wonder was that how Su Lu Xia approached by her bamboo rat? Or something else at play there. I love you for scanlating these, and I love us for keep being civil here. Patiently waiting Saturday for next arc while eating rice.
