@Kaarme Like I said, it 's not a water balloon wrapped around the sword. It shouldn't bounce. I think this is more about the artist not drawing wounds for whatever reason than an accurate portrayal of anything combat related that could actually be analyzed. Plus our only other combat injury related scene other than this that I recall was that godly lightning strike that ANNIHILATED the target. As such I suspect it was more on the artist than the sword actually being useless. Like why no matter what sword or weapon smacks down a power ranger, they don't bleed.

This manga is cute and all, but I'm just bothered by a couple things. She's supposedly 19 years old and played the game for 3 years and played enough that she managed to finally obtain a job change to "sage". Yet after being ported to the new world, she's mentally degraded to an actual eight year old that has no clue of her powers and is effectively a complete noob at both things in the world and how to level herself up. She got her level reset to 1, not her mental age. Oh well, just keep reading and see if the author figured out why they even bothered with the job change isekai setting that they're not going to bother using.
