People in the niconico comments were complaining about the "blood" line in the end. Obviously she ran out of MP but that line implies that she's anemic or maybe she passed out after seeing blood. They were saying what the hell editor did you even read the source material?

I'd say that the phrase "the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak" is more apt.

She's an adult in a loli body. With years of gaming experience. WTF does she act so incompetent? I'm still reading this cause I'm interested to see where the story is going but damn girl you can still be cute while having your sh!t together!! Be the BOSS you can be.

Mana reached 0. Seriously, was this MC a complete gaming noob, before she got isekaid?

I demand a h doujin with the goblin's victory!

@Dwinesk
Having a high K/D ratio in a FPS doesn't make you a calm and competent soldier in an actual battlefield
We see that sort of trope played in Tate no Yuusha in the form of the 3 incompetent arrogant irresponsible heroes who aren't the Shield Hero

I think this portrayal of a fumbling sage is fine

So, after thousands of isekai manga, we've reach the level where people have finally been conditioned to complain if the MC is not OP instead of complaining about an OP MC.
...Wait, nothing's changed. They're still just complaining. Moving on.

@Dwinesk, maybe she comes from a world where it isn't normal to have bloodlust and malice thrown at you like this, nor have someone killed by goblins? stress can do a lot to even the most level headed person and she was just kinda thrown into this world fulla real ass danger.

depending on how the story goes, She might just need some time to acclimate to life here, get ahold of her combat skills, and properly reign in her magic then she will be properly equipped to kick some ass

of course, they could just as easily keep her as a strong scared rabbit but that doesn't feel like the direction this is headed.

@Redice She is op, but she is also still a young child and is level 1. She is strong enough for it to make sense she can protect herself against some monsters, but is also still vulnerable enough that she has to depend on a lot of people. I think this character is well done and to me it gives me more reason to enjoy it. She reminds me of the cute little kids who are platelets in the japanese version of Ozzy and Drix. Heck kids need like 1 or 2 naps a day at that age, so I would think her mana would be some what similar to her stamina. Sometimes I think people don't think as hard about the things they dislike compared to that which they do like which makes sense because no one really invests time into that which they dislike unless they are paid to. This statement only really applying to manga, novels, shows and movies. Manga you don't like that you've read isn't worth taking up precious memory so why put more thought into why you dislike it.

I hope no one here seriously thinks that experience in a videogame translates into real life combat experience. I don't think NATO is sending people off to the middle east with a rifle and 100 hours of call of duty.

@hidamarisou though it helps if you won't panic like a sissy when you hear gunfire. especially ones directed at you. keeping your head cool in most cases is an essential skill for any fighter.

Keep in mind she was never claiming to be a bad ass in real life or anything. 19 is still young after all so its not like someone who plays video games would be required to be tough. The stereotype is the exact opposite.
