Let's be real, both girls reverting to normal size was bound to happen.
However, it looks like we might not get the "Normal Romance" ending after all. It all depends on whatever those two will talk about on their way home. My guess is that Chieri (accidentally?) reveals she wants to keep depending on him just like before. Added to the selfless desire of helping whoever needs a huge hand to reach she gained on the way, it could trigger gigantification once again, this time unlikely to be fixable due to the nature of her wishes. On top of this, Yumeji further fueling those feelings by asking to remain by her side as a helper isn't out of the question as well.
And that's how they end up being a unusual couple with a massive size difference.

Back to being a normal sized girl. So now it's just a generic romcom. Hopefully it ends soon and we're not stuck with manufactured awkwardness.

The kiss being accidental in the last chapter absolutely ruins the manga, I thought the whole fairy tale kiss angle for the ending was stupid anyways but making something that's meant to be special happen on accident ruins any sort of pay off the story has been working towards.
It would've been peak if the whole magic kiss thing was a lie just to get them to kiss and go ahead and date already; the kiss(A real one) they realize nothing is happening except... NANI!? we like like each other a lot, what!? Actual Confessions!? And then 2-3 Chapters of dating the end.

I don't actually hate it being an accident, as long as it's handled well and actually resolved in the future properly. But just leaving it at that and pretending it's fine is like seeing a porno where the male actor fails at opening the bra on the first go and the whole thing just ends there with tunes of Curb Your Enthusiasm.
And yes, I was searching for extra hands to facepalm with during that chapter, fearing the worst.
