Yukihara is obviously aiming for Maki as much as Miyahara for Arima, but both guys are clueless.

Now just Maki "seemingly" going after Miyahara, just to make Arima seeing the whole picture.

I just now caught up so might be a bit late but how is Yukihira aiming for Maki, lol? Ch 38 and most their interactions kinda show that Yukihira sees something in Arima at the very least.

I 100% confidently can say that Maki is nothing more than a tool and Yukihira being THIS close to him now randomly that she neglects and avoids + openly "flirts" in front of Arima is just bullshit forced ooc to push the drama. The usual one might say.
Also, hard agree on the 12 yo being a genderbent streamer being pretty weird. Meh. Recent 2 ch kinda ruin everything.

Yukihara looks like trying to be a wingwoman for Arima+Miyahara.

2ch or 4chan was always bad, although it was far worse in the ol' days though, like "cat stomping to death" or "making people actually commiting suicide" worse.

It's interesting that this kind of throws a wrench into the obvious Arima-Miyahara plot. Everything so far had been set up as a way to show that despite his thoughts, Arima is really most interested in Miyahara.

But by introducing an (apparent to him) rival for Yukihira, that's a trope typically done for the actual love interest. So this is the first time the plot is setting something up to actually enhance his feelings for Yukihira instead.

Granted, we as the audience know this is a misunderstanding, but that is often enough the case with the trope anyway. They're keeping the story interesting.
