Like I said in the previous chapter, this was enjoyable and cute, but I could never recommend it to anyone. It like fairy floss, it's just a completely empty time waster. If I asked what over arching plot developments happened in this comic, you wouldn't be able to say anything, because literally nothing has happened.

The ending feels pretty disappointing, since it appears the author knew it was ending, and this was the best he could come up with, which is unfortunate.
The author could have written a time skip where the MC was reminiscing about the past while walking to meet up with his GF.
The author could have written it so that the MC decided he didn't want to date yet, so as to not destroy this friendship with uncertain feelings.
The author could have written so he had actually decided on who he's chosen, and was about to confess, but without ever letting the audience know who.

There's just something so incomplete and empty about the way this ended.
And the annoying thing is, the ending is what we leave with, thus it tars the rest of the series.
Ah well, let's try to remember the good times.

But hey, at least we got one last title drop... that kinda cool, I guess?

I just don't get this huge dislike of open endings

The only reason anyone even cares is because the author made such a huge deal out of it. If we just had the three but it was just two cute girls and the guy, then whatever, it would just be slice of life. But a Big Deal was made about the MC being in love with One Girl and then The Other Girl (who is way better) forces her way into the MC's heart till at the end he is very conflicted, and it is a Huge Deal, which one does he love most, but then the last chapter is 'lol who knows, who cares, f#@$ you dumbasses for even reading and caring about this'.

So yeah, there have been romcoms that have gone on for way longer with less resolution but nobody is mad about them because the author never in any way signaled that there would be a resolution. What happened here was the mismatch between promises and results.

Honestly, if he would have just said 'I love you both, let's enjoy our further school life!' without making a choice that still would have been infinitely better than this, where he doesn't even admit he likes either, just 'ah ha ha our fight is far from over!1'

Open endings are terrible, if I just have to imagine how things will play out....well GEE, I could have done that on my own now couldn't I?
Why bother making a third Lord of the Rings, just imagine how it ends, why give movies an act 3, just imagine the rest of it on your own.
