I'm hoping he actually turns out to be a good guy and friend to MC. He might respect his dedication to volleyball since he doesn't seem to care that much (choose a school close to home instead of a sports school).

That aside, 20 cms isn't really that big a difference. A little bigger than a hand length more. Hard to think this guy isn't good enough to be a libero. It'd be funny if his middle school coach was just a bad coach.

He IS the Libero, but what he wanted to be was the Ace, which is kinda hard to do when you're short unless you can jump like a grashopper.

He didn't fully stop dreaming, simply decided to be more "realistic", even if that meant doing unfulfilling things.

He straight up changed his philosophy to "dont try and just be healthy."

Hes not going to make it anywhere in sports like that. He went from I wanna be the ace to I'm not going to play volleyball competitively because there's no point.

A realistic approach is I'll just swing my target to being a pro libero. He's being pessimistic (which I think is the point the authors trying to get across)

Well, I'd not be happy to wait 50 to 100 chapters worth of my existence before starting to play with something better. What would I do in the meantime ? Touching grass ? GIVE ME MY F*CKING CONSOLE BACK...

But yeah I quite like the art. It's pretty cute and I already like the two MC. The story seems pretty nice too. I'm already invested. But I just can't ignore that console. It gave me some childhood PTSD and the way MC brushes it off coz she's the FMC rub me the wrong way.

Second of all, no matter how you look at it, that desperate dash of his was pointless, like literally no one could have reached that ball, no matter how tall or fast they were. I get why you said that, but you are just telling a lie right now, and a bad one at that.

Not the greatest first chapter ever, and I’m kind of annoyed she never actually pays for the console she wrecked. Cuz knocking on the front door is so hard =_= But the art is simple yet charming, the MC’s negative initial mentality is understandable and the under dog story is just interesting enough

Really hoping the story goes this route. Be nice to see bad coaching being called out and a “Ace player” who’s only playing for fun and has no interest in getting sucked into his dad’s legacy
