Thats what I was saying though, the difference between a spiker and a libero being 20cm isn't a lot considering the average height difference of those positions anyways. If he's 20 cm shorter than the spiker he's average height for a libero.

Mind you, he's 20 cm shorter than the average bloke just playing around on the volleyball court in a club, not 20 cm shorter than the competitively geared hitter. He's a lot more shorter than those, when even that 20 cm comparison is damning. If you want to go big or go home, you compare to the people who go big.

This isn't to necessarily say that you're wrong in the point that he couldn't/shouldn't try to make it work as a libero, even if he's at a disadvantage. Realism and defeatism are two different things and all that. This is just against the point that this difference isn't a lot. It is.
