First of all, please note that our group consists of two members currently, myself (pip3) and suchtla.
Prior to this project neither one of us ever had made experiences with translating mangas and truth be told, we didn't have a clue what we were getting ourselves into.
I think that reflects in the quality of our few releases. Not only did we have some typos (thx again nutjob!), but also the visual quality was pretty bad.
For example, if you compare the pages you will notice that the level of blackness is very inconsistent and that I didn't remove some or any of the paper artefacts from my first few pages.
All this stuff boils down to the fact that I had no idea what I was doing.
As I kickstarted this project alone I had no person to guide me through the steps I should take and I honestly didn't read enough or any guides and tutorials at all.
The same thing goes for the typesetting too. I'll be the first one to admit that the only thing that's consistent about it is the fact that it's pretty bad.
The last thing I fucked up with this project is that I started it at the wrong time. As things are now I will not be able to release chapter 5 for another 6-7 weeks for private reasons.
I know this sucks because all the little momentum a niche title like this could have had on Mangadex will be gone by then.
But at the same time, I'm not doing this for the views and I think this can be an opportunity. Hear me out.
When we return from our hiatus, we will come back with much experience gained from the rocky few chapters that we have already released and we will re-release the chapters we already had online with all the above issues addressed, as well as other improvements like a few t/ns that are pretty interesting reads and an actual schedule of one chapter a week.
We are very thankful to the people who read our imperfect scanlations with all their flaws (I've literally misspelt the group name on the credits page Bernd->Bermd) and we are sorry for those that are looking forward to a new chapter.
In the meantime, all we can do is promise that we will do our best.
