It’s one person (vipguy64) releasing a translation for 2 separate groups (spinning_donuts and Player1_Please).

(Technically vipguy64 also posts the Vietnamese(?) translation for Player1_Please, but I’m only talking about the English translation here.)

The translations appear to be exactly the same in terms of content (I.e, the actual translation). What seems different is the font choice.

Now why vipguy64 is doing this? I have no idea. The quality of the translations don’t seem to be different. But there also doesn’t seem to be any reason to worry about it.

You're reading it backwards. vipguy is posting the translation but is not the translator/group himself. He's doing it on behalf of spinning_donuts and Player1_Please, which are completely separate groups (you can verify this by clicking on the names to go to the group profile pages).

As to why he's posting both translations for the series, I can't say specifically except to note that a) he posts for both of these groups regularly (I think exclusively?); and b) MD staff generally support having more translations available for the readership.
