If they don't get the appraisal stat window now, I'm gonna flip a tableHuh? More cards? First country clear bonus? A second chance at appraisal?
Where's the beef?
She broke her staff, and there were no monster parts. No horns either? So much for Minotaur horn weapons.
I think it worked in the sibling's favor that there were just two of them. A lot fewer people that needed information for positioning and timing.I am surprised the strongest party didn't notice the boss could understand them, I noticed something was off when it could counter them so efficiently. It seems a plot hole
In reality, it's weird that as a military, they didn't already have doctrine for 3-4 mainstay formations for various enemy types. Even if the enemy doesn't understand speech, a full plan takes too long to explain when unknown monsters can arrive in large numbers. The military team's skills didn't change enough for set plans to be impractical.I think it worked in the sibling's favor that there were just two of them. I could say that they just didn't have enough time to notice when they were panicking about themselves, and people are squishy pattern recognition machines, so the weeks\months of monsters they've fought before didn't show signs of understanding, they don't bother entertaining the thought.
They are just a crack squad of 5 members and clearly has their formation down to a tee already (which was based on their previous fights). What they didn't anticipate is the boss having a centimeter of usable intelligence and went for the one with the lowest guard instead then snowballed from there. In reality, it's weird that as a military, they didn't already have doctrine for 3-4 mainstay formations for various enemy types. But chalk that up to the author rather than worrying too much about it.
I understand what you are saying but I think you are missing something here. The team is considered to be the strongest unit in all of Japan. The real problem is not that they didn't realize that he could understand language but they are actually a lot weaker than the Kisaki twins. The experience that the strongest team has gained so far by beating dungeon monsters has been divided between four people, not by two. Thus, their levels are a lot lower than the twins. At the beginning of chapter 13 (I believe it was) the Captain of the strongest team states that they are all now level 5 or higher while the Twin's levels would be much higher probably around level 30 or 40. Remember the twins would retreat from a battle if they thought they couldn't win and go grind through the lower layers to increase their strength if they went up against an opponent that was stronger than them (ie the Boss on level 5 and level 10). The twins are not getting paid for their drops yet they can not turn anything in to get money as the Dungeon they are exploring is in their basement and is considered an unsanctioned dungeon whereas the strongest team is doing this to get money and frame from the dropped items and being the first to defeat strong monsters (level bosses). In reality, it's weird that as a military, they didn't already have doctrine for 3-4 mainstay formations for various enemy types. The appraisal card is only given when you initially defeat the level 5 boss (Ch 11).If they don't get the appraisal stat window now, I'm gonna flip a table
