Fucking bullshit ending.

The ending arc could ended in higher note if the shitty father arc cut off completely and replace by an average father figure, keep the biological father a deadbeat.

1. Introduce future father figure
2. FF comes to Japan for raids
3. FF find MC's badge
4. FF wants to report but siblings fight back
5. FF, weeb girl and boob girl joins sibling in 5 people party vs wind dragon.
6. Keep fighting and arguing, FF impart knowledge and train siblings
7. Deadline incoming, weeb girl and boob girl stalling while FF and siblings fight dragon.
8. Win vs Wind Dragon.
9. Serpent emerge, FF hurts bad protecting siblings.
10. Exit covered by rubble and FF is dying. Can't clear rubble since serpent goes brrrr everywhere.
11. Siblings vs serpent. Must win before FF turn off forever.
12. Deus Ex Machina power up, siblings win, got full restore potion.
13. Clear rubble, exit and happy end. FF open branch to help siblings, boob girl can stay to sell FMC's weapon.

Completely bullshit ending. The dad was trying to protect the kids. They were homeless, starving, and had to drop out of school just to survive. All that and the dad didn’t do a single thing to help them, even in regards to dungeons which he claims to be the expert on.

He didn’t deserve redemption and the kids didn’t need it, he should have crawled back into his hole and died a miserable death from bowel cancer.

I have mixed feelings about the ending. It was a good stopping point, but they could have easily continued the story.

Many authors create manga stories in hopes that an anime will be made. Videos increase merchandising sales and the author can make money from merchandising royalties. As such, only enough manga story needs to be created to fit into one season of anime. If the author is trying to be efficient, any effort beyond one anime season's worth of story is wasted effort because many shows only get one cour anyways. Thus, the manga was given its rushed ending. This frees the author to work on a different story in hopes that might also have a chance to have an anime.
