I was so expecting, but dreading a sad ending. I'm happy I was wrong.

Does this get any less creepy? Seriously...

The immediate sexualization bullshit is so dumb.

Did he want a sister, or a sexdoll? Major ick...

Pretty comfy low-key vibe throughout. A little bit simple. I don't have the heart to call it bad, but I would be hard pressed to find any praise for it.

If you ignored all the nudity, this manga would be.... no, let’s not do that. Be warned, this manga contains underage nudity. The NSFW came out of nowhere initially, but when it involved the younger sister... that’s when it started to get weird. Really weird. I did realise there was an ecchi tag, but nevertheless, the nudity made the whole reading experience really uncomfortable.

That aside, the main plot was pretty light and sweet. The sidestories were wonderful and added the much needed spice in the manga. The pacing is atrocious though. Unnecessary filler chapter plague this manga, meaning the more heavy themed plot lines were badly rushed throughout. It gets worse the further you go - an entire character arc is suddenly crammed into the last 3 chapters, ruining whatever coherency the story might have had previously.

Art was adorable, and the characters... not that memorable, but still enjoyable and full of life. No concrete thoughts about everything really, this had a lot of potential but ultimately just fell short of it.

Ehhh I think author lacked boldness so it ended up being a bit of a let down. I don't regret reading this though.

Geezus Japan, what's up with the incest fetishization
And yet you still keep reading such stories. I wish people were less hypocritical. You HAVE to know when you read a manga it's gonna get like this, I hardly know a single manga that was 100000% innocent that's not for kids and even then I bet they still add a lot of innuendos.

Oh, wow, I haven't seen this one in years.

It's a decent slice-of-life style story if you ignore the loli fanservice. Ending is predictable but a lot was skipped over.

Nossa, faz anos que não vejo isso.

É uma história decente no estilo slice-of-life, se você ignorar o fanservice com lolis. O final é previsível, mas muita coisa foi deixada de lado.
OThe ending is unpredictable; I was on the edge of my seat, afraid that at any moment the author would go crazy and launch into gratuitous incestuous scenes. I say this mainly after the scene where he hugged her halfway through the manga, and she hugged all her friends to see which one made her heart race. Thanks to that scene, I was terrified until the very last minute, praying that a 360-degree turn wouldn't happen.

NAt the end of the day, it's just a cute manga about a pair of siblings living in the capital while the brother sorts out his love life. Don't get me wrong, we have an elephant in the room; the manga is a slice-of-life, but it uses loli bait to attract its initial audience. The first and second chapters are more appealing However, the manga ends up focusing more on basic ecchi, panties, underwear, and occasional nudity, with nudity being more frequent among the older characters, However, it also exists in the lower strata of society, if you know what I mean. Ecchi is also limited to situational things, accidental views, misunderstandings; it doesn't fall into harassment or abuse. Regarding the protagonists' relationship, it is indeed a sibling relationship, but in an ecchi manga, he's not trying to take advantage of her, nor is he trying to take advantage of her, The relationship between the two, and between a guardian and his younger sister, is more comical than erotic, and the creature's nude photos evoke more astonishment than interest. Not to mention that the dynamic shifts from her following the "anime sister" script to her living life like a normal child, making friends her own age very quickly. Basically, this is just a manga with ecchi content, not a manga about ecchi. If you skip the first two chapters, the most frightening and problematic parts probably disappear, leaving only normal discomfort. Regarding ecchi in the lower classes of society, if you know what I mean. Regarding the manga's problems, it kind of avoids tackling the more complex issues it's designed to address. It comes close but then drops the ball and focuses on something else. No one ever considers her schooling; the other children go to school, but none of the adults question why she never goes, The issue of Christmas presents isn't being developed, not even as a joke. I thought presents would be a recurring theme, but they don't bring it up anymore, and in the end, He never explains to anyone that she was a gift, he's not confronted about it with his parents, the legal issue of it not being considered, it's not that the answer given is bad, They simply didn't want to think about it or develop it. But at the end of the day, the manga came out a 7.8, maybe a 6.8 if you take away more points for the juvenile ecchi content; the relationship between the characters is nice. The characters' drama is good, the tone was heavy-handed, but at least it didn't degenerate into incest; at the end of the day, it's a story about a brother who takes care of his sister and looks for a girlfriend When he gets one, the story ends and all the other loose ends remain open. It's not offensive, it's not 100% satisfying, but it's passable, simply not turning into an incest story That's already a reason to celebrate. I enjoyed reading it, the ecchi bothered me a little, but at the end of the day I don't regret reading it. It would be nice if the other aspects were developed more. Especially the craziness of Santa Claus giving relatives as presents; I'd love to see that escalate to its ultimate comedic consequences. The manga can be interpreted as a young adult living with an adopted sister, half-sister, or sister resulting from a marriage between one of the parents and another person.

I know the scene you're talking about, and I didn't get any such vibes from it. He had just had his heart broken and needed comfort (in the emotional sense, not any kind of sexual "comfort"). Hugging Choko reaffirmed that he still had good things in his life and people who cared about him.

All through the manga, he treats Choko as a sister. He never once shows any interest in her as a girl. He immediately rejects every ecchi suggestion from Choko's book. Having him suddenly decide to go the loli incest route would be the epitome of bad writing, especially since the author had very obviously been lining things up for him to start a relationship with Chitose.

The heart racing thing was just more of your normal "Choko doesn't understand emotions" gag. It's just meant to be funny.
