I miss how expressive and intricate of the previous art style. Aside from never seeing gore and viscera ever again, I'm gonna miss the range of character faces filled with utter scorn and disgust to radiating innocent glee. It's all so flat now...

Man, this went to shit so fast I got whiplash from the sudden drop in quality. Not only the art style but the tone as well. It went from a gritty seinen as the MC is clearly going insane and having an existential breakdown from eons of isolation and violence to "Generic Suddenly Shitty Power Is Actually OP (not)Isekai Slop #561,685,747". The old art was a little wonky and hard to read sometimes but it actually had some soul in it, it could convey emotion and intention without words and made everything seem much darker which kinda fits in such a shitty seeming setting where a kid gets constant beatings for fantasy classism then sent to the meat blender dimension to level grind for eternity. And the Time skip, like right after we get that nice chapter from Faf being scared that his growing depression will cause her only real companion and savior to abandon her.

I was thinking this manga was a 6/10 prior to this chapter. The story was generic, nor did I like the implications of being in a dungeon that completely froze time outside; that ruins the transition back to the world to be either completely jarring to the people he knew, or to the audience. But the characters were nice enough, and the sketchy art style grew on me.

I haven't read ahead of this chapter, but I can say that they took jarring the audience to a whole nother level. The art style is more polished, but also poopoo. Dropped it down to like a 3/10, possibly gonna decrease as we see the actual aftereffects of his time in the dungeon to the rest of the world.
