I wonder who we can thank for that. Hope the truth gets revealed if only so Sakuya's orbiters realize how stupid they were to be manipulated for so long.
i think im getting the picture: this girl got rejected, now that she found out her prince charming is with an alien, and like before, she wanted to isolate MC again from anyone else, and this is only an assumption. She wanted to be the only option left and the only one standing by MC's side
Seeing Lulu stand up for Ten and not take any of Sakuya's obvious bullshit put a big smile of my face!
Also really enjoying Sakuya's characterization here. She's not some perfect Villianess with complete control over every social situation, she's just endlessly bitter, petty, and willing to lie. It's very human and it keeps a lot of the onus on Ten's class mates for believing Sakuya rather than absolving them because Sakyua's just such a perfect manipulator.
christ that escalated FAST, that "what a load of BS" panel took me so off guard
Sakuya seems to like appointing people with "roles" - Ten with her "virtue of honesty" (in the one-shot this was also her "being a prince"), Lulu being someone that's "lived a life of luxury" - only to immediately rip into them once they don't live up to the expectations of that role. It makes a pretty neat contrast to Lulu telling Ten that no one has to stick to a specific form and that she'll support Ten in whatever path she wants to take or no matter what she wants to be (I'm paraphrasing but you get the gist). The vastness of space vs. the rigidity of Earth...or something
Even more excited to see how they're gonna flesh out Sakuya's character from the oneshot now quite frankly she's kinda nuts LOL but she's cute so it's okay... (it isn't) (she needs to pay for Ten's therapy
