Am I really the only one who's going to comment about the pacing being trash? Like seriously, it moves *so* fast. Really just running through the motions. It would've felt *way* less awkward to just sum it all up in a flashback of why she hates him, if they were gonna rush right through it like that. (And if they really had to have all that random omg I'm so in love relationship drama, at least set their meeting sometime further in the past. If they only went on three dates and they never even had an official commitment, you can barely even say he cheated. Just that she figured out he was scummy.)

I enjoyed the nod to konyakusei though. And konyakusei was really cute, so Imma follow this even though I didn't like the first chapter.

Yeah, that's obvious. It's just that there are far better ways to do so. I was just surprised that this had a decent number of comments and no one said anything at all.
But it doesn't really matter - I'm not expecting quality plot. I'm just here for fluff. Just because I consider something to have bad writing doesn't mean I can't enjoy it for other things.

The guy is scummy. The girl is an airhead, but somehow they are going to end up together in the end. (At least that's what the cover seems) Jesus Christ you could be realistic here AND MOVE THE F*CK ON. I mean the guy is 100% a d*ck and no amount of "tragic backstory" is going to persuade me into thinking "Ah those scummy actions were justified." I believe in second chances but he doesn't get on because ANYONE WITH A MORAL COMPASS WOULD KNOW NOT TO CHEAT ON A COMPASSIONATE, LOVING, GIRLFRIEND/BOYFRIEND.

Idk what happens in an all-girl school but if MC girl doesn't understand that DATING AND TRUE LOVE COMES WITH PATIENCE AND TIME MAYBE SHE NEEDS TO READ UP ON THAT S**T AGAIN.

Another shoujo manga with pointless romance that leads to a unwelcomed ending. 6/10 for me.

Except that's the point. He's gonna be a playboy asshole who turns into a better person because of her. It's not like they dated for long, plus he clearly didn't take it seriously from the start so him cheating isn't really an issue. She was just another girl for him to play with. Now if he was truly committed then was with another girl, then yeah I'd call that cheating.
