Okay really quick...
1. What you did was not terrible.
2. Most revolutions against the monarchy end up a question being endlessly tortured until they are almost unrecognizable physically, and then their corpse is hung in a Public Square so that every person who wants to can come along and spit or urinate on their corpse.
3. After the Monarch is indisposed, usually the entire Royal Family, and any person who could possibly become King, is executed; only the very lucky ones get to choose exile.
4. None of this is even considered reprisals, and reprisals usually begin after all this business with the monarchy is concluded, and usually includes the original revolutionaries, themselves.
5. This isn't "terrible;" it is the most gentle, bloodless, and overall soft "revolution" since Thailand in 1932.
GG, heroes.
