So apparently the definition on that page got cut out during the editing process. It's supposed to say "A man who takes his wife's surname" because that's the simplest way I can explain it. When using this term, more often than not it's referring to that. But then there's a drama literally called "mukodono" which might or might not be a reference to the tv drama. Thank you for the explanation.
