About the chapter-end comic, the evil nurse got a point.
She's also the reason why they should only make "good" figurines, or more likely, stop it altogether. I don't know what Kogare was thinking making her if she already knew what the Shards do.

Hell Nurse is absolutely correct on the last page.
At the time the hell nurse was made Kogare didn't have access to or know about the shards. She got the shard as first prize for the figure making competition from the shop boy who locked himself in the closet with hell nurse.
