Well that certainly is A solution to the harem problem.

  • Unironically making everyone (or at least sentient beings. Perhaps butchering one cow can feed a whole city) 1/6 size makes a bajillion times more sense than Thanos killing 1/2 of the universe... and actually cuts down MORE than his original plan.
  • A true fan isn't 100% consoomer. They are also the biggest critics because they are passionate about it.
  • Lmao he literally Thanos-snapped the figurines, not even "killing" off 50% of them no, but 100%, which automatically makes him a superior villain. Nona only got by after Nona Equal already planned to sacrificed herself.

Yeah, well... movie Thanos is dumb.

Also, this would be a permanent solution. We can extrapolate from the no need to eat or poo that animated figures are still FIGURES. They're plastic, and thus... infertile. There will be no population increase afterwards to fill the newly-created void. Only a slow decline due to predation, accidents, and self-deletion. A lingering and inexorable extinction.

(Without getting too philosophical about whether animated figures are truly the original person or not. It could be a much faster extinction as the full-size humans are removed to be replaced with their 1/6 replicas, but the series would like us to ignore this argument.)

You know, it wasn't really clear to me if he was just shrinking people, or also turn them into figurines (which would be dumb). I must've missed that if the latter was the case. I think I'll reread once... this series is over, which would be soon. :meguuusad:

Being infertile and immortal would technically solve some of the limited resources problem though, and I assume they can make more living figurines. Not that that situation would be ideal of course.

If shrunk down, I think humanity can handle the predation and other stuff if particularly if he also brings in otherworldy powers and/or technologies from other series. And if people are turned into figurines, I don't think predators would be that interested.

Well they're not plastic I don't think, given all we've seen of the lewd scenes and how their "skin" is pliable.
The endgame here is fun, I don't think it's been rushing. I hope they all end up happy.

They're still plastic, or whatever material was used to make them. Subaru confirmed that on her first appearance from the original series. At the same time they're also not.

The magic or whatever from the Galatea shards, or the author automagically uses which one's the most convenient and/or funny.

Well, the reason the plan sucked is pretty obvious... it was never about saving people, it was about his ego.

MCU Thanos is a malignant narcissist, he sees the world as he wishes and no other way, anything else is sacrilegious or inexistent to him.
