Dang, forgive me if I sound pretentious or something, but some of ya'll gotta chill with how things are progressing in the story right now. Dude got hit across the back with a wooden chair by a dude that could probably bench close to 300 then stabbed in the lower-middle back of his torso. His body was no doubt already in shock and then getting stabbed there would take most normal folks out.
I get it, to an extent, but let's not run the risk of becoming an insufferable critic of a fictional story. The deeper you go into that mindset, the less likely you'll be able to enjoy what's honestly a decent diversion and interesting story. Let's try to enjoy these things while we can and appreciate an attempt at being as different and realistic in a setting like this. Not many stories can get away with a Mary-Sue or Superman-like character and this story isn't trying to make them one.
