And of course she had to fall into the hands of the sleaziest bastards available. I hate it when a previously strong girl is forced to become a damsel-in-distress, but I commend her will to resist, and I'm counting on the several layers of defense Allen has helped place on her to at least buy her the time she needs. Would be nice if she gets to off them on her own, but I guess it'll be up to Allen to save her by the looks of her magic getting sabotaged.

I forgot why I stayed out of the comments. The novel’s pretty short and translated, so everyone’s giving series spoilers in here. Which for the most part is fine, people are respectful of the spoiler tags. Mostly. And the only other semi relevant forum to discuss it might be Reddit so…

What really gets me is the people that asks for the spoilers, and respond with clear spoiler text. Why even ask? You really can’t wait for the next chapter? Will your life support give out before then? Are you super sensitive to some topics that you’ll abandon the series then (no sob stories, please)?

I dunno, maybe attention spans are fleeting, but why not just take this particular form of media as it comes?
