The Duke's words were specifically "You can't progress your relationship beyond what it is now" and considering that they've already gone all the way... Well, the only other progressions I can think of are marriage and raising children.

He fully intends to overcome her father's opposition by becoming prominent enough that he can marry a duke's daughter without social status disparities. This is exactly what I expected from him.
Her dad doesn't know they've already crossed the final line as lovers, the fait accompli is already in the bag. A bun in the oven will complicate things though, so I hope they know what they're doing. Or maybe it's a plan B if dad changes his mind about allowing Allen to earn his way to Ana's hand in marriage...
They turned the boss room in the dungeon into a love hotel room.
