Saebascans is God.
I think in ch19, Margaret doesn't mention his rank. And about ch17, in corresponding LN chapter (ch30), Allen doesn't mention his rank, so this might be a manga issueOkay, now that we have a better translation, I'm irked by this chapter. And I'm assuming this is a Manga only issue.
Chapter 21 Page 24 Has Allen say he's the youngest C-Rank Adventurer ever. Which is fine as a reveal, he's hiding his power level and all. Except. Chapter 17 Page 16, where he tells Anastasia that he's C-Rank. Plus she should already know he's C-Rank (she's already had Margaret investigate him, Ch 19 p5). So both Anastasia and Margaret know he's C-Rank. The only person there that doesn't is Isabella. And she doesn't really matter for this scene.
Maybe there's a slight chance Anastasia is not aware of what the exact promotion prerequisites are, but she should know he's not some rookie. Maybe he's saying it for the sake of her friends(there is no way he would know Margaret knows anything about him), but that's still a weird way to start that off. Assuming she knows his rank, he would normally just say the Slayer stuff and the Blizzard Phoenix subjugation. Really chuunibyou that part out. There's no reason for this reintroduction.
Yeah it is. In the novel she doesn't know that or inquire what rank Allen was nor that only C-rank adventurers are qualified to be dungeon escorts.Okay, now that we have a better translation, I'm irked by this chapter. And I'm assuming this is a Manga only issue.

Yeah but he didn't mention that he's the youngest which might not come up in a check.Okay, now that we have a better translation, I'm irked by this chapter. And I'm assuming this is a Manga only issue.

Came here to say that lol. I get that otome games are supposed to be pretty cookie cutter, but the forced duel by the isekai heroine, MC proactively offering to help the villainess, 1 vs 5, I really thought I was rereading MobuSeka for a sec. It’s a lite version of Leon and co from otomegame
Yet Another NPC said:Chounin A is a cheap rip-off of MobuSeka. MobuSeka better. Yadda Yadda.
I hope you got your answer by reading the next chapters. Or else, and even if Amy's various moves haven't proven to you so far why rushing events and forcing situations only leads to cringe... then you can't be helped, sorry. 😑So why doesn't he show his abilities, establish himself as the strongest person on the kingdom, and then save the villainess? This is why making your MC overpowered is a problem. I was the fool for thinking the author has even an inkling of storytelling skill.
wew girl, so close yet so farThis didn't happen in the game! This mob Allen... As I suspected, he's in love with the villainess!
