cover art got me dazed at her thighs for a dozen of seconds lmao
Who wasn't, Bro? Who wasn't? 🤗
would've been funny if tl used the word speedrun instead of "fast laps" lmao
TL could even have used "Nani the Fuck" as a proper alternate title because, serioulsy, you can see these kind of reaction faces all over the place. Almost on every page:

Any more and we would almost think we were in the average One Piece episode

title should be the start of smooth sailing. Nothing really that interesting to me seems like all of it are indirect lovey dovey scenes between them. The duke just indirectly said you dont have a title yet so your not worthy to be with Ana so friends would be your limit. Once that event happened all the spark went out so I dropped reading the WN.

There will be a BIIIIIIIIG Shift in tone at one point, thats why I say it is still worth it if you want to see the MC struggle.

maybe I guess i'll just wait for the manga to catch it up. Since the following events now is so fast for their relationship to develop that event with
the elf festival. Its kinda cringe to see those two got so close or its just too fast to me.
it reminds me when i read release that witch and what happened with the MC and FMC. its like a sudden development.

I mean they know each other for months,
in fact I believe the story also regularly skip weeks of time and gloss over them since it mainly focus on some major events.
but even without that, they are young and they already both have crush on each other.
the only thing that prevent them from being more open about their feeling is their social standing and rules.
so
when they got in the mood and the whole elf festival and let go of their feeling and social standing and rules on a village far away from all those politic and shits, they suddenly become so close and their emotions explode.

I personally think this was very well done honestly.

rather most other stories drag the romance way too much that feels far more unrealistic lol

I mean to me
doesnt feel THAT rushed because she started to have some interest on him from the begining and im pretty sure it was because he was the only boy not drooling over the FMC of the game.

That's why, to me, she liking him started way before, she just realized what her feelings were on the Elf festival.

actually even at this chapter specifically Margarett is even talking to Anastadia implying that she is rly fond of him and Margarett herself wouldnt touch him for her bot to worry... there were subtexts here already that even her friends were aware that she was showing more feelings that just a regular classmate

But yeah this part is a bit .. a bit but after that.... well I will write down ehat triggers the start of thr last arc

Basically Allen kinda reveals to Amy he is a reincarnated too and Amy make a rly HEAVY move to get back at Allen

After this things go BAD.

yeah so true, most series before starting the romance is so dragged and forced... the denseness of the characters is too dumb even... this part I Liked a lot in this for sure, way more than how it was handled in Mob isekai that he doesnt care about being mob anytime, except when dealing with the fmc and villainess hahah.... come on...

Speaking of something exploding, I noticed some details in that chapter that gave me a bad feeling.
Once again, I haven't read the WN and therefore didn't spoil myself, so correct me if I'm wrong...
Anastasia and Allen may clash at some point.

Sure, smug orc-slaying Anastasia at the end of chapter 25 is absolutley astonishing... but also frightening. Especially as she so blatantly states her intention to keep up with the Jones catch up to Allen's level. The next step for her is probably overconfidence, or even arrogance. I'm afraid some coined rivalry may then develop between the two. Add a pinch of sexual tension, and you get the perfect recipe for a huge time bomb (also a classic trope in that kind of stories)...

On one side, we would have an eager Anastasia constantly trying to one-up her teammates and overdo everything. On the other side, an Allen trying to curb her enthusiasm for her own sake. It would quickly become too late to peacefully de-escalate the situation, so...
They would have a brawl. :censored:
I don't think firearms would be involved. Magic possibly, at worst. But I can foresee at least some cuts and bruises on each side.

Followed of course by their inevitable and definitive reconciliation. :giggle: PSA: take your insuline, massive sugar overdose expected.

thanks for the replies. I only mean i guess that I wanted to have a nice and slow development for both but this one i feel its straight to the point that i feel once the confession and the intent to be a couple happen the story goes downhill on its ending in other words, its the peak point of the story. in short, i guess i was expecting a twist or something that will keep me interested even before that happens.
@shinshom if that spoiler would be before what happened in the festival it might be more interesting. But Allen doing that feels unnecessary for him

Overall, it might be because after the condemnation event of the game story the progression is fast.

For me what really sets apart Mob Isekai is the world building and the mystery behind that world and the cheats. Harem and romance have those cliches but as i remember MC isnt dense at all he knows those girls have affection on him but he can't face them straight for it (maybe he just doesnt want to be bound with the system) so he always runs away (i remember her sister talking about it on the next arc after the first game)

Let's admit it: if you had been in Allen's shoes at this exact moment and in the exact same context, you would probably have sharted yourself. And so would I. 😅
You are absolutely correct. But I still can't help but feel jealous. Lemme dream

I still prefer the guild girl over this villainess. I was hoping with the "debt" of housing she would end up with MC... but at this rate it doesn't look like it will be that way. Doesn't seem like it will be harem either.

oooooh. good question.

I wouldn't say the manga is a particularly bad adaptation but certain subtext is certainly lost, like the duke emphasizing Alan as her friend as a means of telling him that they can never date. and a few details are just skipped over to keep the flow going

Honestly, I've almost gotta recommend the WN since it's gonna be really hard to wait when we reach a certain point in the story. Maybe hold off til then. You'll know it when you see it. My guess is it'll drop in 5-10 chapters
Thanks for the response. I've just been reading the chapters that match up to where the manga is at. You are right there is some lost subtext that the WN fills in. I also like the more in depth POV switches that the WN provides.

Oh definitely agree about the POV stuff. I’m not sure why manga struggle so much with that

so I’m a spider so what? Is almost completely unreadable from the manga as so much of the series is about alternating perspectives but the manga doesn’t give us that at all! It’s very frustrating

A little annoyed I'm reading what appeared to be nocturne translations work on another site but the POV chapters have stopped, which is weird since the translator comments whenever a POV chapter is next. So I tried going to nocturnetls.net to get WN from the source site appears to be offline.
