Good twist there. I certainly wasn't expecting that. In the real history it took Wang Xuance a while to organize the alliance that would join the war, and his biggest problem was getting Nepal on his side. In this manga, the king of Nepal deliberately sent the Tang delegation off without warning so Magadha would capture them, thus providing HIM with a casus belli (attack on an ally).
