Well, i think this political marriage could be an opportunity for MC since if she marries the guy she could influence him in order to get power, if the guy gets powerful and hopefully doesn't disregard paril's efforts but instead becomes more of an ally for her, paril could use her husband to make business with her father and maybe her father would come to learn that he messed up BIG TIME by having paril and all her knowledge gone to someone else instead of himself. About celesta being pregnant she would need to be extra cautious about keeping it secret form emeralda cuz she could want to get rid of both her and the kid and since the father isn't even doubting emeralda for now he is for sure going to believe anything she tells him. That or paril could take celesta with her in order to keep the child and celesta safe.
