Stockholm's trope is never gonna die is it

Cant wait to be enlightened to the justification for both the prince and ml being toxic shits.

Ok, the princess must have done something to him because that was just plain hate. I don't want to excuse the ML actions, but maybe there is a reason? Like, maybe the princess did something horrible to him and when the ML send the letter asking her to marry him they instantly thought of MC because she looks like her. Sacrificing the MC in order to keep the princess alive.
If the princess really did nothing then I don't understand because he seems to know her, he even imply she could have brought a weapon to kill him because "she" hates him...
Oh well, we will know latter about this.

Plot twit the Princess is evil and the marriage was all a ploy to take over the kingdom from her brother.

Hm. The ML is... off-putting. Not sure if this can be turned around.

Kill him. They are probably going to say that he had beef with the princess and as such treated her like that but I still don't like his behavior. However, I want to see if this becomes a train wreck. I'mma keep reading

I love how she calculates the worth of everything in potatoes xDD

But also Big Yikesâ„¢ on Mister Dragon Man! Wonder what his damage is... And how long until Ferdia kicks him in the nuts just like that good orphanage director taught her.

Spoilers because why not:

Crow and Sirene really do not get along and Crow is deeply suspicious about the fact that 'Sirene' is there, given that he knows perfectly well that Setanta would never have sent his sister... and, yeah, he's perfectly right on that.

He's also been crushing on the real Fel for about six years after meeting her once as kids, so he figures out real fast what the deal with 'Sirene' is (he does not, however, mention this fact to her until much, much later in the novel series). His attitude towards her as 'Sirene' softens very quickly because of it. The first impression isn't the greatest, but he's actually a fantastic love interest and the later interactions with Fel (in both her disguises) are adorable.
