from some spoilers i read, said princess hates him just as much as he hates her, and would be just as violent and homicidally brutal with him if she had the chance, the moment he figures out that she isn't the woman he despises with every fiber of his being, he keeps up the act but isn't really physically violent with her if i remember right.

Also i just want to point out that said prince sent the MC to this guy knowing full well of what i posted above, so they aren't exactly saintly, nor good friends imo.

-the whole thing was a ploy, he didnt actually want them to send sirene, he just needed to make the offer to instigate his brother, and also have them be in his debt for refusing
-sirene is an incredibly cold and calculating character, she only likes her brother and Fer. otherwise she is a pretty unkind person, and hates crow just as much as he hates her. so crow probably thinks shes just fucking with him

- shes been speaking with the maids personally, and knows the circumstances are just misplaced bitterness, and they never intended to actually hurt her permanently, it was just petty bullying, and it meant she didnt have to pretend to be sirene so much of the time
-fers main goal here is to get a divorce, the best way to do that is to undermine his authority and annoy him
-the maids are grateful to her. it was a situation in which they wanted someone to be punished to help their grief, but since sirene didnt seem to be suffering at all just sent the ball rolling as they tried to get any kind of reaction from her.

-crow is going to continue to be unkind to sirene in the future, but nice to fer. he figures out pretty early theyre the same person, and that shes a substitute, since her personality is too different from sirene. as soon as he figures that out, he immediately stops being physical
-fer is confused why he'll be so nice to fer but so cold to sirene. this makes her curious of him
-crow is a bit of a yan, surprise /s
