Page 5 TL note because this was too complicated and trivial to add a note for...

'pan' is 'bread' in Japanese, comes from Portuguese. And one of the many names for Japan is 'Nippon', which sounds sort of like 'Ni~pan', so 'Ni~pan' kind of means Japan with part of the name replaced with bread, like if you called Bengal 'Breadgal'. I had nothin' to make the pun stick as is, so ignored it - figured some people would still notice, especially if they've seen or read the Jya-pan anime or manga.

Also it amuses me that one of Leonardo daVinci's reincarnations was as a medjed.

Unrelated to the chapter but what is with the tags for this manga on mangadex? Half of them are not even remotely accurate

I'm not the one who put those tags there, but... at one time or another all those things have been in the series since Arawi sometimes goes off on wild tangents. I wouldn't really say it's about [thriller], [demons], or [survival], but it does kind of give an idea how all over the place it is. Not sure what the tag rules are here. I can only think of two times when demons have showed up for like a panel or two, and Kamaboko Oni isn't really an actual Oni. What's the cutoff? And where's the [girl's love] for Niiku x Nagu 😜? Edit: And come to think of it, there have definitely been [aliens].

So basically I have no answers either.

Yeah those ones for sure. I have no idea what the rules for tags are but I would think it would require them to be major themes. Also [drama]. Only dramatic thing I can think of is Matsuri and Ecchan's stuff with Ecchan moving away. But it was still mostly comedic

I think she just has lots and lots of part time jobs... and maybe half of them don't disappear overnight so she gets the pay from those? 😹
